Helping individuals heal, energize and become aware of their inner strengths.
Our specialists are trained in treating general mental health conditions that can impact a person throughout the life cycle such as depression, anxiety, grief, or adjustment disorders.
Fighting sexual addiction attacks your self-worth and brings high levels of shame. We've received additional and highly specialized sexual addiction training. Additionally, we provide resources and therapists to help you understand what's really driving your behavior, leading you to peace and recovery.
We affirm the right of all people who experience same-sex attractions to choose their own sexual identity and how (or whether) to express it. We value self-discovery helping individuals process same-sex attractions in affirming ways that align with a client's faith, values, and life goals. We understand that for very personal reasons, and of their own volition — many members of faith communities seek to align their sexual thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, as much as possible, with their personal values, beliefs, faith, commitments, and life goals — rather than the other way around.
For the spouse, symptoms can include Indescribable fear, reliving the experience, avoidance (not being able to go out in public or be around things that remind you of what your spouse has done), negative self-cognition (I am not good enough or he/she wouldn’t do this, if I were prettier, taller, more attractive, lost weight, she/he wouldn’t do this) and Increased emotional arousal (intense anger, yelling, sleep problems related to racing mind, anxiety, suicidal thoughts).

It can be intimidating if you have been asked to complete a psychosexual evaluation. A psychosexual evaluation is a forensic evaluation to help determine a person’s risk of recidivism and treatment needs. As a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider, my goal is to evaluate the whole person versus a moment in time that led to an offense.
What to expect ~ The first portion of the assessment is the interview and review of any police or judicial reports. Next, a comprehensive biopsychosocial and sexual history questionnaire is completed. Finally, a series of assessments help to measure sexual interests and psychological testing, all of which are conducted on a computer or iPad.
The process is time-consuming, which is why the evaluation is so expensive.
The client interview and compilation of assessments take approximately five hours to complete. After the evaluations are complete, it can take six to ten hours to synthesize the information into a report. Once the assessment is finished, I will meet again with the client to review the evaluation and answer any questions. A treatment plan is recommended that helps a client meet their specific needs that the assessments indicate would be of benefit.
