About Me

Hi, I'm Mary liz. I believe in our ability to find joy, peace and meaning in life. Sometimes, due to trauma, grief or life difficulties, we need guidance in healing wounds, figuring things out, and developing healthy coping strategies. While creating a welcoming non-judgmental setting I use evidence-based practices, to help guide you in moving your life forward. 


I specialize in trauma, couples therapy, anxiety, insomnia, anger management, grief, and caregiving. I hold certifications in EMDR Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), grief counseling, Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy (IBCT) and training as a Gottman Institute 7 Principles for Highly Effective Marriages Workshop Leader. 


Additionally, I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address insomnia, anxiety, depression, aging issues, dementia and caregiving. I look forward to accompanying you on your journey.
